Now, let's not kid ourselves: I did write and take photos before I started this blog. For example, in 2008 I was posting to IU's J210 Visual Communications portfolio site, where I first learned the wonders of creating multimedia for the Internet. I also took a science-writing course that fall, where I posted to the J460 portfolio site. And, I did my first big photo assignment for the Indiana Daily Student.
