A small gesture for a short entry. This morning I added a title attribute to the RSS links on my website. The hover text will help people remember Aaron Swartz, a good guy from the free culture movement who helped develop the Internet news feed standard (and was a major force behind the campaign against the Stop Online Piracy Act).Just a simple, "You were a good person, Aaron Swartz." 'Cuz he was. Plus, I learned about his suicide the day after it happened but only this morning decided to do something, so I don't want to do too much this late. If you don't know much about the story, though, I can at least point you to a great Harvard Business Review blog post on the subject. That'd be doing something a little more important and effective: informing.
